6 month Well visit

I am still searching for that magic potion that stops time... Has anyone come across any yet??

I cannot believe that my precious baby boy is 6 months old. It breaks my heart that time is flying by so quickly. Clint is progressing very well; he is learning new things everyday! We took him for his 6 month old well visit on Wednesday July 7, 2010; everything was great and they told us that Clint is right on target!

27 inches long! (he is in the 83% in height! Guess he is going to be tall like his daddy!)

4th of July Fun!

4th of July weekend was definitely a busy one!!

We started celebrating on Saturday. Uncle Andy and Aunt Candy came up around noon, then Grammy (mom) came over, then we headed to Neal and Debbie's house to swim. Papaw (dad) finally made it up after he got off from work. After swimming we came back to our house and cooked out by our fire pit (for the first time) that Jonathan built! We ate Deer Burgers, Hot dogs, and Chicken!! After eating, we roasted marshmallows and sat around the fire! It was great!

This is the 1st time Uncle Andy held Clint! He didn't know what he was missing all this time!

On Sunday, we went swimming again at Neal and Debbie's, and this time we partied with Mimi, Uncle Shane and Aunt Callie! After swimming Uncle Shane and Aunt Callie came over to our house and cooked out out with us; we ate deer steaks and pork chops!! Then before Clint went nite nite we lit sparklers!

Happy First Fathers Day! June 20, 2010

I would like to think that Jonathan had a great first Fathers Day..! Clint and I got him a set of mud flaps for his truck! That day we went to church (it was our Homecoming, so we had dinner after the service!!), and then that night we had over Uncle Shane, Aunt Callie, and Papaw Homer for dinner!

Clint got his first feeding of rice cereal on May 31st when we came back from Gatlinburg. (5 months) He wasn't sure what to think about it, and kind of got frustrated with the whole thing! But, we pressed on, and eventually with a little thickening and apple juice he got the hang of it!

Memorial Day Weekend

For Clints first Memorial Day we headed up to Gatlinburg, Tenn for the weekend! We left that Friday morning and got up there around noon. We rented a four bedroom cabin with a gorgeous view! Joining us was Papaw and Mimi, Uncle Shane and Aunt Callie, and Jim and Deb. We had a great time!
